Finally I got to attend Arts in the Park, and what a pleasant surprise. Danville should be proud to have an event with a little class associated with it. My grandkids had so much fun at the kids' tent with face painting (what a talented lady with such patience) and the other activities involved there, good entertainment, good food, and what a nice bunch of volunteers who made it an all-around great event.

The Lamon House is one of Danville's best kept secrets; what a great connection to Abraham Lincoln, sitting right there in Lincoln Park. Next year I intend to see even more of the weekend's events. Great job, all of you who worked so hard to bring it together!
